Winning with PokerTime has major perks as was seen in November 2007 when winning PokerTime players secured their places at the Rumble in the Jungle Poker Tournament in Tanzania.

The prestigious event took place at the five star Kapinski Hotel in exotic Dar es Salam where players were treated to twenty-four hour cash games which yielded many wins for the PokerTime players.

This adventure filled trip included visits to some of the world�s most spectacular sights and landscapes.
When players managed to tear themselves away from the excitement of the tournament they visited the Ngorongoro Crater, set amongst beautiful backdrops and vegetation engorged with wildlife. The Serengeti National Park formed another leg of the trip. The park, known for its natural beauty and scientific value , added to the magical ambience of the holiday.

At Lake Manyara PokerTime players witnessed the teeming ebb and flow of life which the lake maintains, making even the most light-hearted of minds ponder its wonderment.

The icing on the cake however, had to be the white sands of the Zanzibar beaches. This leg of the trip proved to wrap up the experience in the best way for all the travellers.

Relaxed, refreshed and laden with their tournament winnings, the PokerTime team waved a sad goodbye to their jungle view and headed back home for some more PokerTime plays!

The Poker Players Club is a brand new and exclusive reward system launched by PokerTime for their esteemed poker players. PokerTime players who are loyal to the poker room will not only get free membership and automatic registration to the Poker Players Club but they will also get the chance to move up different levels by earning Poker Points.

SA Poker Open
June 2007

The inaugural SA Poker Open, held for the first time in South Africa at the luxurious Montecasino, was a raving success with various All Africa poker champs, veterans and international online qualifiers fighting it out.

PokerTime player, Ryan S from the US, won his all expenses paid trip to sunny South Africa and SA Poker seat earlier this month in the final online SA Poker Main Qualifier. After a bad beat resulted in his unexpected exit from the Tournament he transformed from a poker pro into an overwhelmed tourist.

Not only did the VIP PokerTime team show their player from the US the best party spots in South Africa but they also took him on a tour to Soweto where he ate African cuisine and visited Nelson Mandela�s house. It was, however, the African horse back safari and the lion tour that was the highlight of Ryan�s trip. �I�d definitely come back to South Africa for the next poker tournament and bring my family with�, said Ryan just before he boarded the plane for his long flight back to the US.

With 105 players taking part in the SA Poker Open the prize pool came to R2 million and the first 10 players came in the money. A Roaming television crew and a TV table caught all the action and provided close up shots of the final table that took eight hours to finish.

It was a battle between chip leader Danny K and previous All African runner-up Jaime Vilela that finished in the final showdown when Vilela�s four of a Kind crowned him the 2007 SA Poker Open Champion.

WSOP with 3 Friends
May 2007

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is the most prestigious high-stakes poker tournament in the world and PokerTime is giving their online poker players the chance to go to the Main Event with 3 of their poker friends.

Online Poker Players will get to compete not against their poker friends but with them as a team in a World Series of Poker Freeroll hosted by PokerTime. Each team, made up of 4 members, will get to fight it out against other teams on Sunday, May 27th for seats to the WSOP qualifiers.

PokerTime will calculate the teams� joint position in the WSOP Freeroll by adding up where each one of the team members placed. The team with the lowest score will win the first place � entry for the whole team to the WSOP Multi Table Finals worth $1,500 each. World Wide Smackdown
April 2007

PokerTime is asking you to be patriotic and defend your country in their exclusive World Wide Smackdown (WWS) Tournament this April. This promotion promises to be a knock-out with an ultimate prize pool that is worth $6,000.

Players from around the world will get the chance to show of their poker skills and prove that their country is the best at the game. The Eight countries that will be fighting it out for the ultimate WWS title are the United States, United Kingdom, Denmark, Australia, Sweden, Germany, Canada and Rest of World.

Country specific weekly freerolls have already taken place and the first two rounds were a knock-out. 10 players from each country have so far qualified through the Feerolls for the WWS Tournament on May, 7th. There are still two weekly freerolls left where players will get the chance to qualify for the WWS Tournament and defend their country.

Furthermore, a poker promotion as exciting as this does not go unattached without making it as interactive as possible. European Poker Tour

PokerTime hosted a number of satellite tournaments where they gave online poker players the chance to win a package to the European Poker Tour in Monte Carlo.

These satellites gave players the opportunity to win a package worth $16,800 to Monte Carlo where they could compete in the EPT Monte Carlo poker tournament.

Elia M, who played on PokerTime, was one of the skilled players who won a package to the televised EPT Grand Final. On top of getting to play at James Bonds favorite casino, Elia also gets another chance to win even more money and walk away as the ultimate EPT king. Last year's Grand Final winner 19 year old Jeff Williams took home $1,100,000.

The EPT Tour kicked off in Barcelona continuing in London, Baden in Austria, Dublin and Copenhagen. The remaining events on the tour are Dortmund, for the first ever time in Germany, Warsaw and the Monte Carlo Grand Final with 362 players already registered.
