Dark: A play made without all the necessary information.

Declare: To voice your intention.

Donk/Donk Down: To play a hand badly.

Donkament: A table of unskilled players, usually online.

Donkey: An inexperienced, foolish or unskilled poker player.

Donation: An irrationally optimistic call made by a player who fully expects to lose.

Down to the felt: Going all in or having lost all one’s chips, refers to the now bare felt of a poker table.

Dirty Stack: A stack of chips with a different denomination chip mixed in.

Drag Light: To pull chips away from the pot cover your bet. It you win, the amount is ignored, if you lose, you must cover the amount from your pocket.

Drop: To fold.

Dump: To quickly lose a large stack of chips.
